Owens Thomas Wall of Shame

Okay well it will have a nicer name than that, but I had this idea. I am always shocked by how many people have to take the same picture of the Owens Thomas house, it isn't that beautiful of a house or anything and yea maybe it was the first house in the USA to have indoor plumbing, and the Marquis de Lafayette did stay there like a million years ago, but I can think of a million more things in Savannah to take a picture of, rather than being the 18 pages worth of people on flickr that have the same picture I do of my trip from Savannah,GA.

Okay now idea, I want to use Flickr to create a whole wall of pictures taken of the Owens Thomas House. I would have them printed and tack them to the wall. I would also have labels under all of them with a date stamp of when the picture was taken. (the stamp being my printing part) Whatcha think?

  2. I feel like the issue you are addressing is a interesting one and poses many questions about our society but this way of addressing that issue seems to be too obvious. It seems to be the first way that would come to mind to portray it and lacks the mystery that make a piece of art a great one. I could be an interesting exercise but I think you could think about the topic a lot more, possibly research it further and come up with something that would be more powerful and compelling.
